St James offers a wide variety of music ministry opportunities. From contemporary to traditional our goal is to participate, lead and serve in the Divine Liturgy; the "source and summit" of our lives.

We strive to constantly grow in our spiritual lives and musical abilities while retaining the rich tradition of our Church’s history. We turn to God in prayer and ask for strength to be good stewards of this gift he has given us so that we may serve our community in humility and truth, by example and prayer.

Music ministers serve the community of faith in a variety of roles. Musicians serve at all the Sunday liturgies: Cantors at the Saturday 5 p.m. Vigil and Sunday 7:30 a.m.; Traditional Choir at the 9 a.m. Mass, Praise & Worship Group at the 11 a.m. Mass, and the Hispanic Choir at the 1 p.m. Mass in Spanish. Members meet for practice on a weekly basis, depending on the Choir schedule.
